Direkthilfe Ukraine – Hilfe für die Menschen im Krieg

Der Angriff auf die Ukraine brachte 2022 nach fast 80 Jahren Frieden den Krieg nach Europa. Die Mittel und Möglichkeiten den Menschen vor Ort zu helfen sind begrenzt und immer nur ein Tropfen auf den viel zu heißen Stein. Zahlreiche Länder der internationalen Gemeinschaft setzten starke Signale der Unterstützung und Solidarität. Bürgerliches Engagement sorgte auch in Deutschland für ein Willkommen und unterstützte die ukrainischen Flüchtlinge. Doch das Signal darf nicht erlöschen, die Menschen vor Ort dürfen nicht in Vergessenheit geraten. Daher unterstützen wir einen befreundeten Verein, die Direkthilfe Ukraine e.V. Er wurde von Mitarbeitern eines in Baden-Württemberg und Sachsen ansässigen und in Osteuropa tätigen Unternehmens gegründet. Sie kennen die Adressaten der Hilfen vor Ort und wissen, was konkret fehlt.

we thank you and RUECKENWIND Stiftung from the bottom of our hearts for the critically needed medical supplies, you sent us in October. This time we delivered all the goods to one of the medical training centers, where my godson Olexij is serving currently as an instructor and where combat medics are trained for units on the front line and the first line of defense.
 
Perhaps you remember that Olexij was wounded near Avdiivka (at that time he also was a combat medic and even got the medal for his fight), had a long treatment in hospitals of Dnipro and Kyiv, and by now he is not fully recovered. So Olexij was transferred to this training center, where he was also trained before the front. You have already helped him and his brothers-in-arms with the medical goods at the front line and in this center. 
 
When I called him about the scope of your October delivery, he was so excited that he spoke almost with tears in his voice. He is very worried about the fact that the boys and girls who go to combat units on the front line after their training in the center do not have a sufficient supply of medical consumables and unfortunately some of these goods are not of a very good quality. But the materials you sent us as always are simply top-notch items for the first aid on the battlefields. They give a chance to reach the field medical aid stations, they give a chance for life to wounded soldiers.

Die RÜCKENWIND-Stiftung liefert seit Beginn des Krieges medizinisches Material zur Erstversorgung von Verletzten. Die genannten und handelnde Personen sind uns bekannt. Zu ihrem Schutz geben wir jedoch weder Namen noch Bilder wieder.
Die Hilfe der RÜCKENWIND-Stiftung setzt sich auch 2026 fort. In diesem Jahr unterstützen wir die Anschaffung medizinischer Geräte und Endoskope für die Urologie eines Militärkrankenhauses im Kriegsgebiet.
